Vintage Hand Carved Soap Stone Bear eating Fish maybe Alaskan Inuit or?:

Description:

Not sure who made this but it is a bear grabbing a fish by its head, it is carved from what I think is soap stone that is black and gray. There are a lot of marks but it certainly has age and patina. There appear to be initials on the bottom WW and then maybe an impressed mark or carved mark that looks like a figure. Piece is 5 inches from fish to bear’s tail, 2 inches tall at highest point and 1 ½ inches across widest point of base.
