This is a very rare and unique piece of Mudman made by the Hopi tribe in Arizona. It\'s an older piece of a Mudman Kachina. These are special symbols in the religion and are hard to find. This Kachina is made in parts like a wind chime. The head connects through the body to the feet which are the clanger on a piece of rawhide. Over the years the leather has deteriorated and the loop broke off at the top when I picked it up. This needs to be restrung with a new piece of rawhide or a leather shoelace. There is some missing paint on the piece that can be touched up or not. The feet are the bell clangers and it\'s made of a ceramic or composition. There is a chip or piece missing on the back along with a surface crack. He needs to be cleaned up. There is a stain or mark on the front which may clean up or not or could be touched up. This is a unique piece for the collector. I would rehang him but in the inside instead of the outside. He measures 12\" long and is 5 1/2\" wide.
