Vintage metal oblong shaped folk art or tole painted wastebasket of the mid-century era.

Beautiful bright painted images of folk art people on a shiny black background with antique gold trim.

Marked on bottom with a large bold initial \"H\" which we believe to be Harvell.

Artist signed...\"Decorated by Clementine Davis\" on underside.

Basket measures 11.5\" H x 11.25\" D and is 8\" W. Good condition for age with some minor chips

along gold rim and one small shallow dent at lower back.

Outside in great condition and visible rust on inside bottom only.
