This vintage Elastolin/Hausser cannon is comprised of three pieces: the anti-aircraft cannon, and the two transport bogies. The model comes complete with folding cruciform firing mount with hinged outriggers, 2 two-wheel detachable, transport bogies (front and back), full traverse and elevation mechanism. The tires on the bogies are black treaded rubber, marked \"HAUSSER\" on both the outside and inside. The two back reels, or spools, are wound with a dark blue “cable”. The gun is imprinted \"Hausser Elastolin\".near the top. The bottom is stamped Made in Germany. All mechanisms work fine, including the firing mechanism. It is finished in olive drab which dates it c.1956.
Altogether it measures about 13\" in length, and a bit under 4\" tall. The cannon base is just under 8\" wide with the outriggers extended The cannon barrel measures approximately 6\" in length. This anti-aircraft cannon is in excellent condition and is all original, with no repair or repaint. There is only some minor rust on one of the connecting rods and near the breach (see photographs).
