Vintage Hector Aguilar 940 Silver Aztec Symbol Bracelet:

A classic Hector Aguilar piece, this bracelet features five Aztec \"symbols\" with a sturdy hinge connecting a 2-symbol panel with a 3-symbol panel. The cuff closes tightly and is locked in place by its original pin and safety chain.

The inside of the bracelet is approximately 6 3/4 \" and the outside circumference is about 7 3/4\". The piece weighs 107-108 grams.

The bracelet can be dated to 1940-1945 based on the following hallmarks using Billie Hougart\'s bible of Mexican silver hallmarks:

the conjoined \"HA\" for Hector Aguilar
\"940\" to indicate silver purity
\"MEXICO\"

There is no damage or any sign of repair but the bracelet has numerous minor surface scratches as you might expect from a vintage piece that has been worn and loved. The piece has a great patina that accentuates the depth of each panel. Please look closely at my photos as I have tried to document all aspects of the bracelet.
