Offered here is a vintage 10-piece Hollywood themed cocktail set consisting of two glass appetizer plates, two 5.5” tumblers, and six 3.5” rocks glasses. These are all part of a larger set my father, a Hollywood film executive and Academy Award winner (technical achievement), received as a gift from CFI one Christmas. Sets like this were commissioned for clients by Consolidated Film Industries, one of the leading film laboratories in L.A. Back in the day, Consolidated Films was so well known that they usually went by just their initials: CFI.
This glassware features an original and unique movie-themed design created by artist Norma Jean Wright done in black and an abundance of 24k gold. It’s breathtakingly beautiful (but very difficult to photograph) and in pristine, unused condition. No chips, nicks, cracks, or wear to the gold. Just lots of glitz and glamor ready to toast the holiday season (or next year’s Academy Awards)!
