We have up for offer an absolutely stunning and HUGE (4 inches thick and weights about 18 pounds!) vintage Hollywood movie star scrapbook from the 1930s - we think somewhere around 1938. This scrapbook was made with great care by quite a movie lover, and just about every celebrity from that time period is included. There are literally hundreds (far too many to count) of photos and magazine clippings of, among: Loretta Young, Ginger Rogers, Marion Davies, Maureen O\'Sullivan, Clark Gable, Barbara Stanwyck, Carole Lombard, Rosalind Russell, Bette Davis, Myrna Loy, Sonia Henie, Irene Dunne, Marlene Dietrich, Joan Blondell, Gloria Swanson, Joan Bennett, Lupe Velez, Dolores Del Rio, Claudette Colbert, Norma Shearer, Robert Taylor, Helen Hayes, Gary Cooper, Dorothy Lamour, Shirley Temple, the Dionne Quintuplets, Betty Grable, Lucille Ball, Greer Garson, Ingrid Bergman, among many, many others! Additionally, there are lots of F. Earl Christy\'s movie star portraits. This scrapbook is crammed full of rare photos and magazine clippings that have long been lost and forgotten, both headshots, full length, and fashion shots, all perfect inspiration for a vintage fashionista or movie lover. In addition to the hundreds of clippings, the actual scrapbook itself is quite interesting - it is an old wallpaper sample book, so all of the pictures are glued to popular wallpaper styles of the 1930s. Not your conventional scrapbook!A rare and wonderful find!Measurements: 18\" x 15.5\" inches, 4\" inches thick. Condition: Signs of age are present, some of the pages are somewhat fragile but not in dire shape by any means. Just needs to be flipped through with care, as would anything of it\'s age and size. Clippings are still bright and colorful. The original scrapbooker has labeled many of the photos in either pencil or pen. Still in great shape for it\'s age!
