This vintage pixieware jar is by Holt Howard. Great piecefor collectors of Black memorabilia. This jar is for instant coffee and features Miss Coffee Bean Herself (as she was advertised). She has a coffee coloured face, with blonde hair that has two small blue bows in it. She is attached to a spoon for scooping out your coffee. Around her neck is a rubber gasket to helpseal in the coffee to keep it fresh.The base of the jar has vertical blue stripes that match Miss Coffee Bean\'s bows. The edges on the spoon have a little roughness to it and there are cracks in the rubber gasket. There is an imperfection on the collar, at the back that looks like asmall crack (production flaw during drying process?).There is all over light crazing and staining to the base of the coffee jar (which gives it kind of a cream colour more than white). This vintage pixieware jar stands 5 1/2 inches high.
