Old HotPoint Kitchen range timer from the LUX company.Measures about 6” tall and 6 inches across the wood base. This timer works. Iremoved the back and took pictures for your review. The inside is very clean and all of the clocks function. I set the ON timer for10:00 and moved the clock time to 10:00, the electrical contacts inside movedto the ON position. I then set the off to 10: 00 and other various times andmoved the clock and the OFF contacts moved to off. I took a picture of theswitch, it also works with a metal pull chain. I wound the clock and it keptgood time, it ran for over 3 days without rewinding. The outside appears to becast iron, the base is wood. I read the instructions on the back and I believethis is how it works. You plug in the timer to your Hotpoint range/oven, youset the desired time you want the range to turn on with the ON timer, you thenset the time you want the range/oven to turn OFF and the range will turn off atthat time.
