This vintage tin was for Houbigant\'s Quelques Fleurs scent and is a powder box with a puff. The top portion is of heavy board with embossed paper over it done to look like basket weaving in a very pale yellow/cream. The base is heavy board with tin bottom. The traditional basket of flowers logo is on the top with bright flowers around the base. The colors of the flowers are still strong and vivid. The size of the tin is app. 4.25\"x2.25\" and once held 6 1/3 ounces of powder - it is completely empty but for the puff. The inside bottom is mirrored. This box is in good+ condition overall with a little wear to the paper here and there and a little light soiling. There is old water marking along the inside edge of the bottom portion which is hidden when the lid is on - this is shown in the photo. The base has wear to the paint with a faded spot with rubbed wear and pale pink discoloration as shown. This is a nice piece for a display of old vanity/perfume items!

*USPS POSTAL PRICES SKYROCKETED on Canada and International packages as of 1/27/13. We still will ship overseas anything but perfumes with contents still inside, but please note - USPS more than doubled the rates on overseas shipments! What cost $1.30 to ship in 2011, went to $3 in 2012 and NOW is $6.55 - and that is for the very tiny, lightweight items. For my buyers of books, a book that shipped for $11 is now going to be minimum of $20.45 to $24 first class! There is no way to work around these fees.
