Here we have anice old hunters beltstyle hatchet that I did some clean up on and then made a handle for her.......This is a very very cool old head, the shape to her is just awesome in all ways....There is no cracks, bends, welds or repairs in this head, she just has the typical age marks of an old head....I mirror polished both sides of the sharp cutting edge as well as the face of the hammer end ( or poll if you will) and all along the top and bottom edgesand left all the natural age marks and patina in the rest of her, I think it makes for a great detail effect........I could not find any makers marks on her, but I can tell by the way the steel cleaned up that shes made of good quality metal........Shes approx. 13inches long and11/4pounds total weight...........All in all a cool old head and I hope you see the same beauty in her that I do......LIKE I SAID THE CUTTING EDGE IS KILLER SHARP SO PLEASE BE SAFE WITH HER...........The handle is one of MY classic shapes and is all made by me, by hand here in Oregon at the world famous \" Uncle Pimpys Axe Palace\"......The handle is madeout of one piece of solidgunstock quality Walnut with a few of my signature inlaid exotic Wenge plugs in the grip area for added style and class...........I set the head using both wood wedges and epoxy and got a nice tight fit that looks good on both the top and bottom...........I sanded the handle silky and used several coats of boiled linseed oil for the final finish.................Please ask questions.....I do combine when ever possible....cheaper on you and easier on me....shipping quoted in sale is intended for the lower 48 United States only....all others may be more.....by offerding on this axe you verify and confirm that you are over the age of 18 and that seller(myself ) is not liable for injury or damage that may occur from use or misuse of this all who may be interested...Look for \"Uncle Pimpys Axe Palace\" on facebook for more pictures and other odds and ends....thank you and good luck.......I am giving you the option on shipping of either parcel post or priority, I recomend priority because it reduces the chance of damage in transit, but its up to you, please specify when you pay witch shipping method you want, either way I will insure the parcel at my cost................................BY offerDING ON OR BUYING THIS AXE YOU ARE REALLY SUPPORTING HONEST SMALL BUSINESS AMERICA, AND FOR THAT I THANK YOU!!!!!!!........BE GOOD HUMANS, KEEP ON ROCKIN!!!!!......THANKS AGAIN FOR SUPPORTING THE SMALL HONEST GUY, JESSE \\m/................Posted with Mobile
