Offering this wonderfully graceful metal sculpture. The wood base has damage but unscrews from the metal.

From researching the fabulous horns, I think it may be an ibex goat. But it could be an antelope or other hoofed animal.

The form of the statue is pretty flawless.The animal\'s stance is both elegant and strong. I love how the front and back legs are artfully merged together. It would look great with Hollywood Regency, Mid-Century Modern, Art Deco, or Art Nouveau interiors.

I believe it is brass but am not a metal expert. I bought it at a garage sale about 15 years ago.

The piece measures approximately 7-3/4\" tall including the wood base. The wood base is 7-3/4\" wide and 1-7/8\" wide. It weighs 1 pound.

The metal statue part is in excellent condition. The wood base has damage to the edges...see photos carefully. You can see on the underside that the metal can be unscrewed from the wood base. You could mount it on another base or use as is. I enjoyed it on a higher cabinet shelf so that the base did not show.

I noticed this piece on the kitchen counter of Monica\'s apartment on the television show \"Friends.\"
