The gentle face of Jesus is beautifully portrayed in this Infant of Prague statue. This Chalkware statue was made by the Paladini Statuary Co., initialed by the artist, and dated 1953. With bright blue glass eyes and finely painted features, this statue is beautiful. The filigree gold-tone metal crown is studded with 47 faux jewels (red, blue and aqua) of which none are missing. Some of the paint is chipped off the hands and along the crown, but the only chip in the chalkware is at the top of the child\'s head. The vestment gown is made of ivory satin, light pink velvet and white lace. His ivory slip is ripped at the top (shown in a photo).Please see all of the photos as they are part of this description.
