This beautiful massive Zuni Bola is skillfully inlayed and handcrafted. It is unmarked but undoubtably the work of Zuni Master Silversmith Dixon Shebola. A very similar piece appears in the book Figural Designs in Zuni Jewelry by Toshio Sei. This impressive piece weighs 51 Grams and is a wonderful example of Zuni Inlay dating back to the 1950\'s or 60\'s. The Turquoise appears to be Natural Blue Gem. (I cut many cabs out of Old Blue Gem in the 70\'s and it is typical of that stone. It is also inlayed with White Pearl Shell, Black Jet, and a lovely piece of Red Coral. The Bola tips are hand made and quite an unusual design. The piece measures 5.5 inches by 3 inches and is worn but in good shape. This is quite a collectors item and priced to sell.
