Vintage Inuit sculpture of mother with children. Carved in soapstone it has organic lines and timeless appeal of the subject of motherhood in context of original folk art. Its origins are not proven, most likely it was created in Canada.Purchased in a very reputable art gallery in Chicago by a friend over twenty years ago.
