Pair of Polynesian hand-carved ironwood or ebony wood busts of a clothed man & woman will be an unusual addition to your collection. Hard heavy wood is very solid. Hard to find and very unusual.

This pair of statues was given to my parents in the late ‘40s/early ‘50s by my aunt & uncle who lived in the Far East for a number of years. My aunt & uncle lived in Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Philippines, but also travelled to Thailand, Pakistan, Indonesia (Bali).

Man measures 13\" tall x 6\" wide x 3.25\" thick and woman measures 13\" tall x 6\" wide x 2.75\" thick. Each statue weighs more than 3.5 pounds. They have been carefully stored for the last 30years in a smoke-free home, so they are in excellent condition. No scratches or damage.

You are not buying from an Internet store but fromthe daughter of the original owners of these statues. I haven\'t used them and it\'s time to find them a new home where they will be displayed. .
