VINTAGE IRWIN PERFECT GRIP SCREWDRIVERMARKED US OF AHUGE - NEARLY 16 INCHES LONG WITH WIDE ORIGINAL WOOD HANDLE
This sale is for a vintage IRWIN Perfect Grip screwdriver. This monster has been used hard for a long time and is still in usable condition. It is huge measuring a total length of nearly 16 inches (see photos.) The handle is large at about an inch and a half thick and the original wood panels fit perfectly in the palm of your hand. If you have a hard job for a big screwdriver then this bad boy fits the bill. The shaft is marked IRWIN and US OF A. The screwdriver does show some age and wear. The original wood panels on the handle have some chips, dirt, and a loose or missing rivet. Because of the rivet the wood panels are a little loose but it does not slow it down. The shaft has plenty of marks and scoring and a few areas of metal residue from who knows what. The tip section is worn and has some rough spots but the blade on the end is intact. This beast would be perfect for use as it is and probably has decades of use left in it or it would be perfect to refurbish and replace the wood panels...OR better yet you can do what I would do and leave it the perfect way it is and place it as the crowning behemoth of your vintage perfect handle screwdriver collection.
