Exquisite embossed marble frame designed by Israeli artist,
probably made for a Bar or Bat Mitzvah photograph.
A perfect gift or keepsake. This is a vintage item, still in its box.
Please zoom into the photos to see the detailed artistry.This was purchased at an International craft show in the 1970s.
Never used, stored in its box on a closet shelf.
The box shows some age, but the frame is in perfect condition.
The frame is heavy white marble embossed on the bottom with a
1 inch by 4 1/2 inch three-dimensional scene of Israel, accented with black and metallic gold.
Draping the upper right hand corner of the frame is a traditional tallit in white, blue and gold,
also raised and three dimensional,made of what might be resin or ceramic.
Please use the zoom function on the photos to see the detail.The frame was distributed by Marble Masterpieces of Brooklyn, NY, which does not
exist anymore (I looked up the address) and designed by Israeli artist, \"Yosi,\"
who graduated Avni Art Institute in Tel Aviv in 1968. His artworks have been
exhibited in museums and galleries throughout Europe.The frame measures 6 1/4 inches by 8 1/4 inches and holds a
4 inch by 6 inch photograph.
