Vintage Fenton Jadite Green Bowl/Planter
Founded in 1905 by brothers Frank L. and John W. Fenton, the Fenton Art Glass Company ranks among the world\'s foremost producers of handmade art glass. Fenton is the largest manufacturer of handmade colored glass in the United States, and the company is renowned for innovative glass colors as well as handpainted decorations on pressed and blown glassware. The company ceased traditional manufacturing of glass in 2011.
This piece is from the 1970s and is signed. It is in mint condition with no chips, cracks, or other damage. It features the popular hobnail pattern and a scalloped top edge. Measuring 8 1/2\" in length and 3 1/4\" in hight this oblong planter is a wonderful example of the fine craftsmanship that Fenton Glass has produced for over 100 years.
