The first corporate mark of the trumpet andbannerwas granted in 1879.
Thesecond with the name was added in 1890.
Some authorsclaimthat the trumpet with bannertrademarkwas officially registered in 1881 though being in use prior to that.
The \"Trumpet and Banner\" identifies without doubt Dixon\'s production.

IMPORTANT NOTE:This authentic James Dixon & Sons Flask with Makers Marks from England appears to be quite old, monogram inscribed J.A.P in beautiful cursive, I do not know its age, or if it is stainless silver plated or just stainless steel or another material, it has many surface scratches, deeper scratches on back with dents on front and back, cork is in cap which is great. ( please refer to pictures for close-ups and details, this is a vintage flask ).
