This 19 piece Tea set of Dragon ware is the prettiest I\'ve ever seen. Done in distinctive CobaltBlue Glaze the footed three piece Tea service includes one 6\" footed Tea Pot; one 5 1/2\" round double handled sugar bowl; one 4\" footed Creamer with gilt interior; Four 3 3/4\" footed Tea Cups with Gold gilt interiors;Six 5 3/4\" saucers; and Six 7\" Plates. All of these pieces (Teapot and Sugar Lids etc.)appear original to the set; although now some pieces are missing. All 19 pieces are very richly decorated on the outside with raised gilt Dragons and wonderful symbols, skillfully and artfully applied in thick rich gold gilt. There is only minor gilt lost on the top knobof the Teapot and Sugar Bowl lids andscuffing of the gilt around the mouth of each lid from gentle use over the years. Cosmetically these do not detract from the pieces.

All pieces are labeled Made In Japan but there is no clear maker, import, or other mark.
