Cute vintage two-piece porcelain Japanese peach lusterware figural BONZO DOG mustard jar and lid that says \"I\'M MUSTARD\" designed after the famous BONZO DOG character made famous by George Studdy in the 1920s.
This little guy must be part of a condiment set (I\'m Mustard, I\'m Salt, I\'m Pepper, I\'m Sugar etc).

Porcelain; peach / light orange lusterware finish with some hand painted accents: paws are brown, one ear is black and one ear is orange and black hand painted features with an orange mouth. Markings
Red cherry blossom backstamp \"Hand Painted Japan.\"Condition: VGC (Vintage / No Spoon)
This piece is in great condition with no chips, cracks, lines or major / obvious luster wear but does have some losses to the cold paint on the black thin lines of the face, the left black ear and the \"M\" on the I\'M on front. Not that noticeable unless very close-up. We do not have the original spoon.
