VINTAGE JAPANESE ASIAN BLACK LACQUER GOLD PAINTED TEA CEREMONY PENCIL BRUSH BOX:

ITEM: This is a wonderful vintage box. There are no labels or maker\'s mark on this item and I cannot date it but it is definitely vintage. This wood box is done with a black lacquer finish and the top is decorated with very detailed images of a Japanese or Asian tea ceremony. The interior of the box is divided into 3 sections and is very secure. Hinges are great. The top remains open or closed as you wish. The hardware on the front is lovely and also secure and the key, which is included, works the lock.

SIZE: 7 7/8 inches across x 1 1/8 inches high x 2 1/8 inches deep

CONDITION: This is in wonderful condition. There is some mild rubbing on the gold painted finish. Otherwise, no flaws noted.
