Vintage Shafford \"Misty Morn\" Frog design Tea Pot made in Japan.Lovely mid-century modern stoneware pottery speckled Teapot hand decorated with a frog surrounded by water plants and pond objects. Signed on the bottom, \"Misty Morn by Shafford,\" the high gloss raised outlines of the frog look wonderful against the background glaze.Beautiful little Tea Pot stands approximately 5\" tall to top of lid handle. Although the manufacturer\'s name sounds like this piece was made in England, Shafford dinnerware was produced in Japan -- mid-1940s to the 1970s -- part of why this little darling\'s artistry is so lovely.Vintage pottery Tea Pot is in very nice used condition with no cracks, chips or repairs.
