NEW LOW PRICE!! This beautiful collection features a sugar and creamer set, a tea pot, andfive delicate teacups and saucers. From the research I found, I believe these pieces are from the 1930\'s, and they have been on display throughout the years in my Mother\'s homes and then mine, butthey were neverreally used. Because of their age and frequent moves,there is normal wear and tear. I have found one very small chip on the bottom edge on one teacup, but the gold paint is still showing in that spot, or perhaps someone touched it up at some point? Each piece, (except the lids to the serving pieces), is marked Dragon China/Made in Japan on the bottom. I believe this collection may be porcelain because the pieces are translucent. The teapot measures 8\" tall and 9 1/2\" wide. The creamer is 6\" tall and 7\" wide. The sugar bowl is 6 1/2\" tall and 7\" wide. The teacups arejust over3 1/4\" in diameter, and adding on the handle makesthem just over 4\" wide. They are 1 3/4\" tall. The saucers are 5\" wide. From the research, I believe these were mass produced pieces, so there are random irregularities in the glazing. There are also some scratches in the glaze on a few of the pieces. In particular, the creamer has more noticeable scratches around the widest part. The intricate pattern and raised texture make these very interesting pieces.
