Ben Seibel was an incredible designer and his Jenfred Ware line exceptional! This is an ashtray from that line. The first reference to this line was in 1948. A line of accessories designed by Ben Seibel and manufactured by Jenfred Ware, New York, comes in copper, bronze, brass or silver finish, on magnesium, copper zinc and aluminum., pieces have a heavy double plating in all finishes, and then coated with a basked lacquer finish. This piece is done in copper and measures 7\" round x 2 1/4\" tall and weighs 2 lbs. The pattern is just gorgeous and the finish very very good for these pieces...the outside is so clean...the inside has some loss of lacquer photo 4&5. Marked on the bottom with a paper sticker Maison Gourmet a product of Jenfredware. To have one of these is to only want more! For the very serious collector! Not to be missed...This is AMAZING!
