The color of the leather is much darker than in the pictures...A very nice brown, similar to the chair in the last picture..

A great early, 1940\'s, Jens Risom for Hans Knoll lounge chair and settee. They have been reupholstered in brown leather. The bases are Spruce ( I can\'t say for sure the wood type, I\'m going by what I was told by Rago\'s furniture appraiser) and are in great vintage shape. The color and condition of the wood is the way they were found...They were cleaned but not refinished...They have a darker finish than most. The leather is all nailed and the upholstery was done with the original in mind....This set is very early, without a tag. There is a great history on these chairs....The first ever designed for Knoll....There is information all over the internet. Check it out.
