Up for sale is a Jewel Aquarium, which are renowned for the finest American fishtanks of the early 20th Century. They made the iconic seahorse aquarium and pelican aquarium. Our aquarium is original cast iron with overall surface rust. Only one of the four glass panels is intact. The iron aquarium is mounted to a slate base, which has a distress crack running through one corner. This does not affect the aquarium, as it is enclosed iron. The tank is well marked with a \"Jewel\" stamp in the from center. The unit is solid and heavy.
