RARE Vintage JOSEF ORIGINALS Large "COLONIAL LADY AT WRITING DESK" Figurine BOOK ILLUSTRATED Mint Condition Description- Wonderful vintage and rare figure made by Josef Original
- COLONIAL LADY AT WRITING DESK
- She is shown on page 71 of "Josef Originals" by Harris/Whitaker (1999) with a then price of $140-$150
- She measures approximately 7" tall
- Great handpainting - with black eyes, lashes and dark red mouth
- Wearing a voluminous lavender gown, with embossed pink rose, blue flowers and gold lacey leaves and a very impressive dark red jewelled necklace, she is writing a letter at her desk using an ostrich plume feather
- Virtually mint condition - there are no chips, cracks, hairlines, other damage or restoration- I have checked her over very carefully
- No paint loss noted and no crazing lines noted
- Marked as shown in photo, with impressed Josef Originals mark
- Please ignore all white spots on all photos caused by camera flash
- This great vintage piece would make a wonderful addition to your Josef collection or a most treasured gift for someone special
