Vintage Judaica Lapid Israeli Stoneware Pottery Pot/Bowl in VGUC !No chips.This has a label on the side which reads Lapid Stoneware Made in Israel.I think this from the 1960s-1970s, but, I\'m uncertain.The only \"mark\" I see is obviously a production issue. Must have occured in the firing of the pot.You can see in the last picture, there is approx. a 3/4\" what I would call an EXTREMELY shallow fissure. I can bearly fit the tip of a straight pin into it and it is glazed over and ABSOLUTELY does not go through the edge of the rim.Over than that, which is very difficult to see, this pop looks great.Hard to find in this particular size.This was displayed for many years in my late aunt\'s china hutchMeasures 4 1/4\" tall and 7\" total diameter; the mouth itself measures 5 5/8\" diameter.Bottom hallmark is partially obstructed by a label from the Temple Sinai Sisterhood Judaica Shop, New Orleans, Louisiana, where this was purchased. But, I believe you can easily see it reads Lapid Israel by Sarah.See Photos. This simply looks to be in remarkably very, very good used condition ! I don\'t see any crazing/foxing, either !I have two additional pieces of Lapid Pottery for sale in similar color scheme. Both are listed in the same sale and in VGUC, also.I do not clean items prior to sale for fear of causing damage.Several years ago, (and, foolishly, recently) I badly damaged 2 expensive items while attempting to clean them. So, I leave the cleaning to the new owner, Safer and less expensive :)We have many, many, many items to list from fine and vintage costume jewelry, figurines, pottery, china, glassware, ornaments, vintage clothing, books, vintage and new toys, furniture, unused gifts, and, a wide variety of goodies in general.We are downsizing and have many items to list !The five year plan has gone into effect !!!
