Here is a genuine vintage Justin Leather Goods small embossed or hand tooled brown leather purse. Pat. 1-25-21 is stamped on the inner side of the unique brass latch, helping to date the hand bag. The purse is solid and the leather is still soft and pliable in nice condition. The leather lacing on the purse body is still very good. The lacing on the strap needs repaired where the hand would have grasp it. The two-ply leather strap is good and allthe lacing holes are good in case a repair is wanted. The strap is 10-1/2 \" overall length and 5/8\" wide with a 4\" drop. There are two pockets inside the purse. The paperwork inside the purse (receipts, appointment card, notes etc.)dates the last use of the purse to 1941 & 1942 and indicates that it was owned by a Doctors wife in Macon, Georgia.Please check the photos for the best idea of the style and condition of this hand bag. the bag body measures 5-1/2\" x 5-1/2\" x 1-1/2\".
