This sale is for an authentic vintage print by George Ford Morris published in the 1952 book Portraiture of Horses. It is a picture of Justin Morgan. He is the founder of a great breed, upon which he stamped with almost incredible prepotency, his characteristics of form, action, courage and speed. This is a real page from the book--it is not a reproduction. This page is in new condition and hasnever been displayed. The picture portion of the page measures 13.5 inches wide x a little over 10 inches tall. The print looks much better in person--my camera doesn\'t take the best quality pictures.
