It is made from vintage old cotton saris. It is embroidered by artisans in West Bengal.

Kantha is the ancient Indian art of embroidery ,actually the kantha is a simple running stitch. While making the Throw, the cloth is given layers that are kept together by the stitches. It is made is such a way that it is REVERSIBLE, can be used from both sides.
