This is a vintage sterling charmof the Betsy Ross Flag. It is enameled in red, white and blue. The charm is marked sterling on the back, and was made by Kinney. It is shiny on the front; the back could use a polish. It measuresjust over 3/4 of an inch high and just over 3/4 of an inch at its widest and weighs3.6 grams.
