For your consideration is this spectacular example of vintage Navajo jewelry art of museum quality craftsmanship, circa 1950s or earlier.

This outstanding squash blossom necklace features fourteen squash blossoms and a naja of a unique design that were set with gem grade Lone Mountain Turquoise in heavy gauge sterling silver bezels. Each blossom features hand cut cabs of Lone Mountain turquoise set in a cluster pattern and the naja set with larger cabs of turquoise in a delightful floral motif. Handmade sterling drops provides more fabulous and contrasting accents.

These were then hand strung onto two rows of handmade heavy gauge 10mm sterling silver beads that tapers to a single strand. Closes with hook-eye clasp. The naja measures approx 1 3/4\" tall x 1 1/2\" wide while the necklace is about 24\" long end to end. Weighs about 90 grams. It is unmarked, as was typical of these old pawn pieces from that era. Guaranteed to be Native American made. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. RP$13500
