I recently had the privilege of buying a watchmakers and jewelers collections of watches and watch parts. One was a certified Rolex repairman In Las Vegas and he had a few nice watches and watch parts. The other was a very well respected collector and watchmaker in Oklahoma. Here are some specifics about this watch:

Model: 17 jewels Cal. 6AE

Running Condition:This watch does run. * (Please see asterisk statement below)

Case Composition: 10K Rolled gold plate

Case Dimensions including lugs, but not including crown: 30.5mm X 16.5mm

Band Composition: 12K gold filled

Useable Length: This watch and band combination can work for wrists up to 6 1/2 inches in circumference. Of course, this can easily be changed by changing out the watch band

* Denotes current condition. The service history of this watch is unknown to me unless I state otherwise. Therefore you should expect to service this watch if you are a responsible collector. Often times these watches have been forgotten in a jewelers desk or in a back room for 30 plus years. I like to save them from that demise and get them back into the hands of collectors. It doesn\'t take very long for old gummy oil to stop a movement from running ( many times just a week or so ) or even worse if the oil is dried out it might not take too long for the watch to grind itself up inside. This is not specific to my watches, but to all that have not been serviced in the last few years.For this reason, we only wind a watch a few turns to verify if itwill go through the paces,so please understand I can only tell you if the watch is running here. I am notputting a guarantee onthe performance of a watch in regards to timing or longevity.
