An unusually large vintage lignum vitae wooden block from the Virgin Islands. Found in 1967 on Hassel Island. This has been in storage for many years. The block is 9 1/2inches long and a 5 inch diameter. The Sheave no longer turns; I did not want to force it. There are no marks on this block.
