Lovely large vintage Art Deco, jewellery, cigarette or trinket boxin a beautiful two tone lacquered wood.

With a lovely simple geometric design with rounded edges, typicalof the style of the time, the jewellery/trinket box resting on four feet has unusualmetal hinges and four large storage compartments inside.

It is in very good condition, very solid and sturdy with onlylight signs of use and age; some light scratches on the lacquered finish and adark blue ink stain on the inside. No chips.Feet handle and hinges securely in place and in good working order.

At some point in time, the inside bottom and underside of lid waslined in a cream velvety fabric.

It measures approx. 31cm/12 ¼” by 19cm/7.5” (not includingprotruding feet) and 6.5cm/2.5” high.
