Vintage LARGE dock or ledge sitting TURTLE. Handcrafted and hand-painted in vibrant colors. Very good condition and clean.
Measures 16 3/4 inches by 11 3/4 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches thick. There is a simple wood fishing pole that was not available at the time of photographing the item. It will be included at shipping time. It weighs 2 pounds 3 ounces.
This is a very sturdy build and the paint is water resistant but not completely waterproof. There is an old wound that has been repaired. The tail was cracked and glued back in position. They did a good job and it has no movement but there is a some sheen from the excess glue.
If this wooden turtle stays outside, for long periods of time or year \'round, I suggest you spray a UV protective urethane (not included) over all the wood.
