Here\'s The Run Down:
As you can see this mandolin is in Great Vintage Condition with only some expected minor flaws to note. All pots, wiring, knobs, bridge, tailpiece, pickup, tuners, etc.. operate perfectly without issue, and sound great! It has been used, and shows some play wear, but was obviously well taken care of (please see all pics for its true cosmetic condition). The original frets are still in great shape, showing some wear, but in no need of attention(see pics). The back of the guitar is in great shape with very little rash to note. The back of the neck has an area of wear that is through the clear (pictured). It is used and 46+ years old, so there will be some marks, dings, scratches, etc.. here and there, but the overall finish is still extremelynice (see pics). The head stock is in very good shape with a few small flaws here and there (pictured). The neck is straight, the truss rod operates properly, and it plays AWESOME,even with old string and a dirty finger board. The hardware is in faded condition withsome discoloration from age and play(see pics). All original electronics operate at 100% without issues!!

This guitar is 100% Original with no exceptions.
The finish was professionally checked and there are NO signs repairs, over spraying or refinishing what so ever.
This Vintage Mandolin sounds/plays great! Although I think its set up great, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility and cost to have it set up to your liking.. The neck is straight and the truss rod operates as it should. The fingerboard could use to be cleaned and a new set of strings would be in order.. The action is low & great from one end of the board to the other. All electronics operate as they should.
The Original Gold Lined Gibson Hard Case is in great condition without issues. It does have some marks, scuffs and wear here and there from moving it around over the years. All latches and hinges operate properly, as well as the interior compartment doors.
Everything operates as it should, and has never had, nor does it have any breaks or repairs unless noted above.
