Tiger, Tiger burning bright - In the forests of the night
This tiger was made by English toymaker Britains in London sometime between the 1920s and the 1950s
I especially love the way that the softer underbelly fur is painted a lighter color
The tiger is in excellent undamaged original condition
There is the expected casting hole just above the tail and just a few small rubs here and there - mainly to the tail
Walking tiger (#941) is approx 84 mm or 3 1/4 inches long and 32 mm or 1 1/4 inches tall
