Vintage Lefton China Two Snow Bird w/ Holly Bisque Figurines 1950s KW1637:

These two figurines are both marked with Lefton China, Hand Painted, Snow Bird, KW1637. The one on the left is also marked; Reg US Pat. Off. It is interesting because although it is the same model, there are slight difference between the two. The one on the left is slightly smaller and darker, but the detail is more defined. The grass and the Holly leaves were applied, unlike the one on the right where it is part of the mold. The one with applied leaves has one leaf that has broken off, and another is chipped. Maybe that is why they changed the design. The Snow bird on the right measures approximately 3 3/8\" tall, and 2 3/8\" by 2 7/8\" at the base. The bird on the left measures approximately 3 1/4\" tall, and 2 3/8\" by 2 3/4\" at the base. The chipped Holly leaves on one bird are the only chips I found, there are no cracks. There is some surface wear. Please see my pictures and thanks for looking!
