ITEMS: Mixed lot of vintage postcards. Various places, all in Switzerland. Mountains, alps, chalets, cities, historic sites, etc. See scans. All are to or from the same Swiss-American family who lived in Canton, Ohio.
Came from an Uber-Swiss family who lived in Canton, Ohio and was very involved in Swiss culture, making regular trips back to their German-speaking part of Switzerland.
DATE: 1960\'s and some 1970\'s
SIZE: some are 3.5\" x 5.5\" and most are 4\" x 6\"
CONDITION: Very Good; Postally used with messages written on the backs. See scans.
SOURCE: From the archives of the World War History & Art Museum (WWHAM) in Alliance, Ohio. WWHAM designs, develops, and delivers World War I and World War II exhibits to other museums here in the US and abroad. Our traveling exhibits include Brushes With War, a world class collection of 325 original paintings and drawings by soldiers of WWI, and Iron Fist, an HO scale model of a the German 2nd Panzer Division in 1944 with 4,000 vehicles and 15,000 men.
