You are offerdingon an original1960s PH5 Poulsen ceiling lamp designed by Poul Henningsenin 1958 for Louis Poulsen, Denmark.The lamp consists of four concentriccircular shades and a top funnel shaped shade lacquered red on the outside andwhite on the inside to maximise light reflection. There is an additionalaluminium disk placed between the main lampshade and the first inner smallerlampshade lacquered blue and white. Each piece is held by three metal rodslacquered purple so that they are spaced out. The smallest inner shade comeswith a bulb cover made of aluminium and lacquered blue. There is one bulbcasing. Please note: this PH5 is an older model as the coloured versions werediscontinued after a short while. Also it does not bear the metallic full coverplaced on top of the funnel top lampshade which came with later models.

The lamp is in very goodconditionand infull working order. The white lacquer work comeswith a few faint age related marks. The Louis Poulsen ceiling cone is notoriginal to the lamp it has been added as there was not one present.. The lamp takesoneESE27 (normal size Edison screw fit) bulb.As with all vintage electricalequipment, it is advisable to have it checked by a qualified electrician
