Here is a nice vintage original Mid-Century Modernist carved tiered layered picture frame. It is a blond color, sort of muted gold and beige over the wood. In total it measures 22 3/8 x 28 3/8 ins., and the insert rabbet size is 18 1/8 x 24 ins. The frame is in fair/good as is vintage condition with surface wear/scrapes/minor chips. Sturdy still. It used to house a early 1940s oil portrait, so I would date it to that time period.Suitable for another portrait, landscape, abstract art and 1940-50s decors.
