This piece is made of plaster. It has cracks in places as pictured, but is remarkably intact. There is evidence of repair at the base and inside, some preventive I think.

It is old and dated to the 30s or 40s. I Recall seeing them in stores as late as mid 50s.
No maker\'s Mark or identification.
