Boy!!! These 1060’s bring back memories of my high school years!!! My friends and I ALL had 1060’s,(a couple had 1030’s), and JBL L36’s!!! And believe me when I say, we should’ve been arrested for what we did to those amps!!! (We did get arrested from time to time...just not for amp abuse!!) From that point on I KNEW the 1060 was built like a tank and can take pretty much everything you could throw at it...what I still needed to figure out was how beautiful these amps sound even at lower volume!!! This amp’s headroom allows it to sound like amps twice its size and very very musical!! Why do you think these amps ROUTINELY bring $300.00+ on ? Probably THE BESTselling amplifier in Marantz’s storied history!! Now, here’s your chance to own one of these legendary pieces for yourself...WITHOUT breaking the bank!! What’s the catch??? Well, this particular amp tested out beautifully...ALL FUNCTIONS sound fantastic!!! Cosmetically, the amp does have a little crinkle on the top left corner of the faceplate,(pictured)...there are also 2 small scratches on the cabinet...otherwise this is a very very clean amp that you will proudly display in your system for years to come!!! That’s where the savings come from...if you can work with those couple small cosmetic issues, you will be getting a great deal on what has to be the best selling vintage amp of all time!!!
