Vintage 1970\'s Era Masonic Shriners \"Sword & Crescent Moon\" Lapel Pin W/ White Rhinestones:
Very cool vintage 1970\'s era Masonic Shriners \"Sword & Crescent Moon\" lapel pin w/ white rhinestones. The item is in excellent near pristine condition for its age. Made completely of metal, it is free of any cracks, chips, or major imperfections. Minor flaws are present from age & use in the form of dirt & staining, as well some darkening & tarnishing of the metal, but they do not take away from this piece at all. The pin is beautifully detailed into the shape of the \"Sword & Crescent Moon\"in which the scimitar\'s downward position or remaining undrawn, represents the importance of only drawing to defend something of importance. The front of the pin is adorned with 6 white rhinestones; 4 in the top of the moon & 2 in the tip of the blade. The back of the piece is free of any markings or design but the original pin remains in great shape. Lastly, included is the original clasp lock which reads \"Ballou Reg\'d\" on the inner portion. As well included is the original plastic display box & cardboard backing which opens/closes with ease. Altogether makes for a great gift for collectors. Please see pictures for condition issues.
Measurements:(pin): 0.30 inches in H, 0.55 inches in L, & 0.05 inches in D. (case):0.75 inches in H, 1.10 inches in L, & 1.15 inches in D.Weighs approx. 0.2 ounces(less than half a pound) altogether.
Makes a great addition to an already existing collection of vintage Masonic or historical memorabilia, as well makes a great gift for a current member, etc. Would look great on display on a shelf or desk in an office, as a prop, or functional for its intended purpose.Always a conversation piece!
