This intricate form of Mexican textile folk art is produced by the Otomi indians, who hand embroider vibrant scenes primarily of florals and animals on 100% unbleached cotton muslin fabric. The designs are detailed and stunning.
This piece is vintage and depicts a center sun surrounded by animals, florals and fish. It is framed in a simple black plastic frame behind clean, clear plexiglass and has a wire hook to hang it. The fabric is very clean behind the glass with no issues.
It is quite large at 34\" wide by 29\" tall.
A great piece ready for display in your Mexican folk art collection.
