This vintage mid-century framed paint by numbers painting measures 21 1/4\" tall, 25 1/4\" wide, and 2\" deep/thick. The frame is of the period, measures 3 1/4\" wide, and is made of a semi-darkened pine wood. The painting itself measures 15 3/4\" tall by 20\" wide. This piece was rescued from a local Southern New Jersey garage recently, and appears to have picked up a few spots of water damage, as shown in the close-up photos. In my humble opinion, these spots do not greatly detract from the painting, but you be the judge after reviewing the photos. The worst bit of damage is the spot of paint loss in the bottom right portion of the painting. This paint loss spot measures approximately 3/4\" wide by 1/2\" tall, which is about the same size as a penny, and could be painted back in if you have a desire to do so.The painting, which is well executed, depicts three colorful peacocks in an Asian river landscape with waterfall. It is most likely a Japanese scene, as this was in vogue at this time, but it could be Chinese or Korean, also. There is a pagoda styled building at the top of the waterfall, in the top left quadrant, along with a curved bridge and Asian styled trees in the back right. Please inspect all of the photographs for additional condition reporting. Also, please review the additional paint by numbers that we are listing here on over the next week. We would be happy to combine the shipping if multiple items are selected. Thank you.
